When we are individually Empowered, we have the capacity to contribute to the greater good of all. It begins with our relationship with our own selves, and thus positively impacts our loved ones, community, and all facets of life.
The Empowered Series was created in 2015 by Jennifer Alyse. After facing her own greatest life’s adversities and realizing that we are each guided by an inner knowing, Jennifer felt inspired to offer much more than a photo shoot.
The Empowered Photo Series is a special and unique offering in her work, creating an experience that is more than just a photo shoot - it confronts and inspires women to step into their beauty and life purpose. Working with industry experts, clients are given the tools to look and feel ALIVE both on the inside and outside.
In the Spring of 2015 Jennifer created her first short film titled "Empowered," exploring the courage of following one's intuition and authentic expression. The film is an invitation for women to be heard, seen and empowered.
In May 2016, Jennifer organized and created the first annual Empowered event in Portland, Oregon, benefitting Girls Inc of the Pacific NW. Over 100 women participated in an urban afternoon retreat, including a journal writing workshop, led by renowned coach and leader Andrea Leda, storytelling “session” from Cinda Lonsway, and the debut of Empowered film.
The second annual EmPowerEd event took place this past year at the Nines Hotel on May 21st, 2017, featuring international speaker & best-selling author, Sierra Bender and a lineup of leaders in professional & personal development.
The EmPowerEd Event was created with the intention to offer experiential tools for women to live an empowered life. Jennifer Alyse believes that as we model Empowered behaviors, we in turn are benefitting the women of tomorrow.
